I started a job and was a victim of another employee physically abusing me. I told my managers that i wanted to be moved to another position or another restaurant, I was denied and the abuse got worse. I tran into the owner today and told him about it and he fired me and told me not to come back or i would be arrested and that he would look at the recording tapes

How long does the abused have to report the abuse after the incident? Parties are not married. If its reported do you have to press charges or can you just get it documented
