How long does an employee have to call into work before it’s a no call no show?

I’ve worked for a company for the past 2 years and I guess I have two issues that I really need advice on: 1)In 2008 I was giving an employee benefits election form that stated my weekly medical with holdings would be $25.35. They have been deducting $36.03 per week (without a policy increase being in effect). Is this legal?
