continuation of question regarding homeowners association fees

I previously submitted a question regarding whether or not a lien can be placed on my home for unpaid homeowners association fees when my home was built prior to there ever being any discussion about such an association. ?There is no such agreement between any such association and myself in my purchase agreement.
