My wife back in 1983 brought complaints against a police officer for attempted rape and sexual assault and it never made it into the court system because of the Attorney Generals office allowed the statue of limitation to run out which she was told was three years. Since charges were never brought against this person, can she seek to have that case reopened

Our HOA is very divided, several years ago our “Good Old Boys” board members were involved in a buddy of theirs, whose wife was head of the ARC and he had no authority, approving a barn made out of corrugated metal which according to the CCR’s is not an approved building material. Fearing that the HOA or this person would be sued by this homeowner if they had to make him tear down his 2 buildings (he built the world’s ugliest garage for his motor home), they granted him a variance saying he was the only one in the subdivision who could have that type of building.
