Structure Damage

My condo was built over 20 years ago and I bought mine 21/2 years ago and I ask about structure damage to the agent, bank and also ask HOA’s,they said it was just settling. Found out after I moved in that when these condo’s were built the construction co was sued for structure damage and HOA won, isn’t there a law that states about the struture damage when you ask before you buy,they need to tell you,nothing in my paper work on structure damage -only AS IF,Now they are bracing our building & contractors said this is struture damage.Cracks and crooked window
