I’m currently on State Parole and I caught a 4th degree shoplifting charge which is in municipal court. will my parole officer find out about this if i don’t tell him? i really need some advice, i made a really stupid mistake and I’m really trying to get my life together

I was seen “concealing” two items by an employee, LP or guard, I wasn’t sure of his position because he was not in uniform. I realized I was being followed by him and some of the employees so I took one item out and he asked me if I wanted him to put it back. I put that back and put back the other item quickly because he was trying to catch me putting the items back
